Jennifer Stewart is an associate at Norwalk Eye Care, a private practice in Norwalk, Connecticut. She writes articles for Vision Care Product News and is currently  developing plans for a sports vision clinic within her practice at Norwalk Eye Care (Norwalk, Connecticut 06825;

Prior to moving to Connecticut Jennifer worked in her home town, the Hudson Valley in New York, at two private practices after graduating wiith honors from the New England College of Optometry in 2007.
To further her interest in sports and vision, Jennifer started the Performance Vision Club while at the New England College of Optometry (NECO.) Jennifer was a Division I college track and field athlete, and currently holds three school records.
During her time at NECO the club grew to about 80 members and was extremely popular. Dr. Stewart was named one of Vision Mondays "Next Generation of Leadership 2007" and you can view the article about her here:
Jennifer's interest in sports vision has led her to serve as a consultant to the Worldwide Performance Vision Council , a group of doctors dedicated to developing new methods of testing and training athletes, most recently Olympic athletes. Through her work with this group they developed the AchieveVision program, a visual skills assessment and improvement plan tailored to each indivuals' sport(s) and needs.
In 2007, Jennifer traveled to Hawaii to perform vision evaluations on members (and hopefuls) for the 2008 Olympic Track and Field Team. During school and her first year of practice, Jennifer worked with the NY Knicks Basketball team, the Danbury Westerners minor league baseball team, various Boston College athletic teams, and Special Olympic athletes.

Jennifer loves to run and is currently in training for a triathlon.
